WHAT IS A VAMPIRE FACIAL? The term “Vampire Facial” was coined after Kim Kardashian showcased her secret facial using a process that involves collecting a sample of one's own blood and spinning it down in a centrifuge in order to separate the growth factors “stem cells”, fibrin, and platelets and then using a process called micro-needling to deposit these cells within the dermal layer stimulating collagen growth. The serum is called Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) and is 100% natural and free of artificial chemicals and preservatives. HOW TO PREPARE: Drink at least 2 liters of water within the 24 hours prior to the procedure. A prescription skin cream will be called into the pharmacy which needs to be applied to the face, including close to the lip line, and under eyes, every 15-20 minutes for at least 1 hour prior to the procedure. WHAT TO EXPECT WITH THE PRF PROCESS Treatment time is approximately 45 minutes for initial treatment plus 15 minutes for each additional treatment area. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3! Step One Blood will be collected from your arm by a trained medical professional. The vial is then put inside a centrifuge, which spins and causes the platelet rich fibrins to separate from the blood. Step Two We collect the concentrated PRF cells! Once the centrifugation is complete, the top layer of the tube’s content is collected. This layer is composed of your very own platelets and white blood cells. The ultimate blood concentrate designed specifically for you without any added chemicals or preservatives. Step Three The platelet rich fibrin produced from the centrifugation is then micro-needled into the skin to help regenerate tissue. From a cosmetic standpoint, using PRF treatments helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. THE PRF VAMPIRE FACIAL MAY BE COMBINED WITH PRF INJECTIONS AT THE SAME VISIT IF DESIRED.
