What to Expect with PRF & PRP Treatments

WHAT IS PLATELET RICH FIBRIN (PRF) & PLATELET RICH PLASMA

HOW TO PREPARE:
Drink at least 2 liters of water within the 24 hours prior to the procedure.
A prescription numbing skin cream will be called into the pharmacy which needs to be applied to the treatment area, including close to the lip line, and under eyes, every 15-20 minutes for at least 1 hour prior to the procedure.
WHAT TO EXPECT WITH THE PRF PROCESS
Treatment time is approximately 45-90 minutes depending on treatment area.
Step One
Blood will be collected from your arm by a trained medical professional.
The vial is then put inside a centrifuge, which spins and causes the PRF or PRP to separate from the blood.
Step Two
The concentrated PRF or PRP cells are then collected from the tube. Once the centrifugation is complete, the top layer of the tube’s content is collected. This layer is composed of your very own platelets and white blood cells. The ultimate blood concentrate designed specifically for you without any added chemicals or preservatives.
Step Three
The platelet rich fibrin produced from the centrifugation is then injected or micro-needled into the skin to help regenerate tissue. From a cosmetic standpoint, using PRF treatments are thought to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
WHAT IS A PRF (VAMPIRE) FACIAL?
The term “Vampire Facial” was given after Kim Kardashian showcased her secret facial routine using a process that involves collecting a sample of one's own blood and spinning it down in a centrifuge in order to separate the growth factors “stem cells”, fibrin, and platelets and then using a process called micro-needling to deposit these cells within the dermal layer stimulating collagen growth. WHAT IS PRF PLASMA LIP?

PRP is a concentrated form of plasma that is full of platelets. PRP is used for injections in the scalp or eyebrow area to stimulate hair growth. It cannot stimulate hair to grow in places without a hair follicle.
PRF: Fibrin forms long strands of tough insoluble protein that are bound to the platelets. PRF builds a natural structure beneath the skin and is100% natural and full of growth factors (stem cells) that simulate growth. PRF is used in the PRF "vampire" facial along with lip, under eye, smile lines, scars, and areas of wrinkles.
